Ingredients
4 pounds chicken wings (good amount for 6 people)
olive oil and salt and pepper
one bunch of cilantro (chopped)
1-2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Sauce
2 garlic cloves diced
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
6 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce or gochujang (I used the chili garlic sauce for this recipe)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1-2 tablespoons corn starch
Directions
Drizzle wings with olive oil and add a pinch of salt and pepper, grill wings
While wings are grilling, in a small saucepan, add sauce ingredients and stir till sugar melts
Keep on low simmer while wings are grilling
Five minutes before wings will be ready, add 1-2 tablespoons of corn starch and stir, the sauce will thicken, add more to make thicker, I used 2 tablespoons for this recipe, I prefer sauce a little runny and not too thick
Remove wings from grill and place in a large bowl, cover with sauce and toss/mix
Add wings to a plate or bowl, you can add on a bed of spring mix, optional, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro.
Enjoy. Cut recipe in half if only cooking 2 pounds of wings.
