Quick Quiche

Ingredients

  • 1 pie dough par-baked

  • 5 eggs mixed (tart pan) 8 eggs if (pie pan)**

  • 1 teaspoon of mustard powder

  • dash of garlic powder

  • dash of salt and pepper

  • 1/2 cup of veggies (here I used asparagus)

  • 1/2 cup of sausage

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Other filling suggestions: diced bacon, broccoli, ham.

** You can reduce the eggs and had some milk for a creamier quiche. I'm a low dairy person so I don't add milk. (4 eggs + 1/2 cup milk)


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350, then in a bowl mix and beat your eggs, add mustard powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and shredded cheese

  2. In the tart pan or pie pan, place your veggies and meat then pour your egg mixture over the ingredients

  3. Bake for 30 minutes at 350

  4. Let cool for 5 minutes then pop out your tart pan bottom and serve on a plate or cutting board.
